Extended paper submission deadline: May 3, 2010
Thank you for your contribution to SOCC 2010. Please follow the instructions carefully to prepare your papers.
Then scroll to the bottom of this page and follow the link
to our electronic submission system.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
All papers must be in English, and submitted in PDF format through the web page.
Please comply with the following guidelines. In certain cases, non-compliance may lead to paper rejection or exclusion from publication. Additional details can be found in the “Paper template”.
- The paper must discuss only new and previously unpublished results.
- The paper must be formatted according to the IEEE double-column format. New: The paper should have a minimum of four pages and must not exceed 6 pages, including figures and
references.
- The paper must address at least one category specified in the Call for Papers.
Each accepted paper is required to have at least one full registration
by July 31, 2010, from one of the authors. Student registration will not be counted towards this requirement.
- SOCC conducts a blind review
process. In submitting your manuscript for the review process, you must leave the author and affiliation section in the manuscript blank. Also, you must remove any information in the manuscript that refers to the author identity or affiliation (such as acknowledgements). Not respecting the blind review requirements may lead to paper rejection.
- IMPORTANT NOTE: The organizers of SOCC 2010 as well as our attendees expect all accepted papers to be presented at the conference.
IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference
(e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
In addition, we keep track of no-shows and will exclude any organization from paper submission for one year if accepted papers from the specific organization were not presented at the conference for two years in a row.
FORMAT
- Text should appear in TWO EQUAL-SIZE COLUMNS, with a 7 mm (0.28 inch) space between the columns.
