Giant’s Causeway Tour
 

Date: Tuesday 8 or Thursday 10 September 2009
Depart: Wellington Park Hotel, 9.30am – 5.30pm

Travel on board a luxury coach with a native guide to take in some of Northern Irelands most interesting, historic and scenic attractions. This tour will include the following:

  • Giant’s Causeway - a World Heritage Site
  • The spectacular natural beauty of the Antrim Coastal Road
  • Carrickfergus Castle - this 12th century Norman castle is one of the best preserved medieval castles in Ireland. 
  • Glens of Antrim
  • The world renowned Old Bushmills Distillery
  • Dunluce Castle


Belfast City Tour
 

Date: Tuesday 8 or Thursday 10 September 2009
Depart: Wellington Park Hotel, 10am – 1pm

Travel on board a luxury coach to catch an insight into the history, heritage and culture of this welcoming city, recently voted Europe's Friendliest Regional Capital. At the end of the city tour there will be an opportunity to stop off at Belfast’s newest shopping centre, Victoria Square. The tour will take in:

  • University Quarter
  • Political murals of East & West Belfast
  • Belfast’s Peace line
  • Titanic Quarter
  • Harland & Wolff cranes – locally known as Samson and Goliath
  • City Hall
  • Northern Ireland’s Parliament buildings at Stormont
